Miscellaneous Tweaks - Change Startup Windows Explorer

The first change I made after the installation of Microsoft Windows XP is to change the Startup of the Windows Explorer.
Standard you will see the My Document if you start the Windows Explorer or in your shared folders. This is boring because we want to see the root for example C:\.

All of this you can change, follow the next steps:

  1. Right click on your desktop and choose "New" and from the submenu "Shortcut".
     
  2. By "Type the location of the item" fill in: C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,c:\. (see picture 1).

  3. Instead of C:\ you can change it to anyone drive you want.
     
  4. Give the new shortcut a usefull name and click Finish. (see picture 2).
